Measurement and photo guidelines

Thanks for your order with Skilpad.

In order for us to make your custom foam inserts, please follow the instructions below

For small items (like handguns, magazines), only one photo is needed.

For long items (like rifles). We need four photos:

• One of the buttstock area
• One of the receiver area
• One of the barrel/handguard area
• One of the entire item.

Photo requirements

• Place the item on a plain white background.
• Place a ruler next to the item (e.g., next to the barrel).
• Take the photo from at least 1.6 meters away to avoid size distortion. (Use your camera's zoom function if needed)
• Tell us the depth (thickness) you want for each cut.
• The item should be perfectly centered in the photo.
• The photo should be high resolution.

Approval Process

• We will send you a draft layout with measurements.
• You must check that the measurements match your item before approving.
• After your approval, cutting and delivery take about 3 to 5 working days.

Please note:

• For 100mm foam, the max cut depth is 80mm.
• For 40mm foam, the max cut depth is 30mm.
